Kids' Summer
Art Camp

Join us for a 4-day summer art camp where creativity meets design! This hands-on camp is perfect for young artists of all skill levels who want to explore abstract art while learning essential design principles like balance, contrast, movement, and unity.

Campers will experiment with painting, mixed media, slime-making, and tie-dye, using fun techniques to bring their artistic visions to life. Through engaging projects, group activities, and creative exploration, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of how colors, textures, and patterns work together in art. With plenty of opportunities for self-expression, collaboration, and a final art showcase, this camp encourages kids to create boldly in a fun and supportive environment!

Camp Art Lab 2025: Design Principles for Kids

Day 1 Lesson: Balance & Composition  Projects: Mirror Painting and Spin Art

Day 2 Lesson: Contrast & Emphasis  Projects: Glow Painting and Slime Making

Day 3 Lesson: Movement & Rhythm  Projects: Painting with Movement and Tie Dying Shirts 

Day 4 Lesson: Unity & Variety  Projects: Art Puzzle, Final Masterpiece, and Gallery Show

On the final day, students will showcase their artwork in a mini art exhibit for friends and family!
